biography

Anka Dabrowska (b. 1979, Warsaw, Poland) studied at Oxfordshire School of Art and Design, Banbury, England (1997-98), Swindon School of Art, Swindon, England (1998-00) and Northumbria University, Newcastle upon Tyne, England (2001-03) where she completed her MA in Fine Art.

Awards include The Juliet Gomperts Trust- Project grant (2007 and 2006), short-listed for the Jerwood Drawing Prize (2005), The Arts Council of England-Grants for Individuals (2004) and Newby Trust Award (2000).
